Ever since I first heard of a live-action Teen Titans movie being in the works I've been wondering about who they are going to cast. I mused earlier about my ideal choice of actor for Nightwing - Matthew Bomer (of the tv series Traveler), and since then I've been thinking about my dream cast for the movie. I'm sure Wizard magazine must have done this already but these are pretty much the types of faces/voices I've always visualized for the Teen Titans.
This was fun to put together - it would be a very interesting job to be a casting director. I tried to keep the choices realistic in terms of salary and the current ages/popularity of the various actors. I figure there would have to be a mix of name-stars and new faces to draw butts to the theater seats while also keeping the budget reasonable with an eye to a range of ages that would still work for the characters over a few sequels.
So with all that in mind I managed to find actors that I think are just perfect for these roles:
Nightwing: Matthew Bomer (Traveler, Flightplan)
Donna Troy: Mandy Moore (License to Wed, Southland Tales)
Kid Flash: Seann William Scott (Dukes of Hazzard, Southland Tales)
Raven: Kristen Kreuk (Smallville, Partition)
Starfire: Jessica Biel (Blade Trinity)
Cyborg: Nate Parker (Pride)
Beast Boy/Changeling: Zac Efron (Hairspray)
Tempest: Matt Dallas (Kyle XY)
Red Arrow: Scott Caan (Ocean's Thirteen)
That's a pretty sexy cast. That should sell a few tickets!

I think that your casting list is FABULOUS!
i never would have thought of mandy moore as donna, but you're right, she's got that no-nonsense, sensible yet sexy good girl vibe---she'd make a great donna troy! how about beyonce for starfire? pricey, i know, but her features would work as starfire and jessica biel just seems too caucasian for koriand'r, imho. but great job, everyone else is spot on, i would love to see the movie with this cast.
Interesting. I never really thought of Kory as being an ethnicity other than orange-alien, but Beyonce would be great!
Eva Mendes would be pretty amazing as Kory too.
well,i think every things great except for jessica biel being kory.look dudes she's hot,but i think the people will be expecting someone sexier to play the hot alien princess, like carmen electra or maby jessica alba.jessica biel could make a great supergirl.anyways,you all do what you need to do im just giving a comment,just dont cancel the movie please.
